How did you
two meet?
We met at a friend's house one seemingly random day, never expecting that casual get-together would lead to everything. We instantly clicked and kept finding reasons to be in the same room after that, as if we were always meant to be.

What did you think of each other when you first met?

FIRST OFFICIAL DATE
What was your first official date?
Our first date was meant to be a classic dinner and movie combo—but of course, nothing went quite as planned! Darrell picked a restaurant I didn’t love (he had no idea I was picky with food!), but he did get me to try something new that I actually liked. Then our movie theater plans got messed up when it turned out to be closed, but we found another spot and still enjoyed the night. It wasn’t perfect, but it was perfectly us.

What do you love doing
together on a typical day?
On a typical weekend, we love going for drives and trying out new restaurants, we are foodies! But honestly, some of our favorite moments are just spent at home with the kids—watching movies, playing games, and just being together.
What’s something you’re both obsessed with right now?
Sushi! We’re always up for a food adventure or planning our next trip. He’s into cars and watches, while I’m more into gaming and painting, but we always come together for anime nights or a good TV show binge.

Tell us about your pets.
What are their names?
Oh, we've got plenty! We have a full season of dogs– named after Japanese seasons.
Natsu (Summer), Fuyu (Winter), Haru (Spring), and Aki (Autumn).
We've also had hamsters, a gecko and birds– lol!
THE PROPOSAL
Who proposed
and how did it go?
He was the one who proposed, under the Brooklyn Bridge at DUMBO. What made it memorable was that his mom and sister were there—he’d told them beforehand, and the four of us went out for a drive. Looking back, it was hilarious—he brought backup to make sure I’d say yes! His sister pretended to take a photo, and right then, he got down on one knee. I was completely surprised... and I said yes without hesitation
OFFICIALLY ENGAGED
What are you most excited about
for the wedding day?
We’re most excited to finally say ‘I do’—but what makes it even more special is having our daughter and son right there with us. Chloe will be our flower girl, and our son will be the ring bearer. Watching them take part in this day, and knowing we’re becoming one official family, means everything to us!
